I have 2 pictures below, from 2 different plans. The 1st pic. shows the view from a camera looking at a wall which is 6' tall, 1' long, and elevated -6'. It is in the (negative) plateau which is down 6 ft (-6') into the terrain.

The 2nd pic is from a different plan, and the wall and pleateau are identical, however notice the angle of the slope.

I can't figure out why I can't get the same angle in the 2nd pic, as in the 1st.

I can't see any difference in the settings between the two plans.

looks to me that the camera settings are not exactly the same....cameras in different positions show a different picture....even if the differences are small

suggest you compare the two files to see precisely what each has for a camera position.....both for its placement in 3D (x,y,z) and its settings (fov, etc.)

if both files are exactly the same, they should render the same views the same....and I have never experienced a random difference.

You could also save the file under a new name, open it and render, then compare to the original file and they will look the same.

The camera angle and locations don't make this difference, the pics are exported 2D pics, from a 3D camera....no rendering here.

I just went through every possible setting change I could make, and I found what is making the difference, however I don't know why it does.

The included pic below is the same as in pic 1, but I changed the "Terrain Mesh" Length and Width. And upon applying the change, the slpoe angle becomes greater.   ???? WHY???
