Framing for ceilings

When you add a ceiling to 4 concrete walls, the Material list includes the materials for the ceiling itself but no framing materials to hold it up.  Obviously a cathedral ceiling would not need the extra materials, neither would a regular ground floor ceiling, but a single storey building with flat ceiling would, as would the top floor of a multi storey building with a pitched roof.  It appears that ceiling framing has been missed out altogether, even though you can supposedly turn off the ceiling framing in the view filter.

I would think that there is no ceiling framing, it is the roof trusses which the ceiling material is attached to. I Could be wrong though.

Mike,

This theoretically would be the case if the roof was set to truss but if set to rafter there would have to be framing.

If you turn framing visibility on, there is no ceiling support at all for any type of roof - trusses do not show either. Maybe they have nume a source of super strong drywall material that will span from one side to the other!
