Hi Allan,

Yes, it clears up alot of things. I've always placed everything in just one location. To be honest, I didn't know what Locations meant until you and Doug mentioned it. My computer runs pretty good, I don't even have to turn off hardware acceleration. What you said about the walls, when they are a different height, that they should be placed in another location, doesn't it get comfusing having to go back and forth between locations if you want to make changes.

Also, have you tried the stereo vision? I was thinking of ordering 3d glasses but I don't see it offered in the IMSI website,. I've seen it offered in the Envisioneer website.

You soon get used to swapping locatons. It is primarily designed for dealing with multiple storey homes of course but split levels etc are that anyway and they are virtually essential if you have different floor or roof levels.

I have not looked into stereo vision as I am legally blind in one eye (other is perfect thankfully) so I cannot see in stereo anyway - someone else will have to comment on that one!

Sorry about your eye Allan.

I have learned so much these past two weeks. My favorite part is the awesome rendering. I should have made a career in designing, instead it's a hobby and it's great for the mind. :)
