Excellent work and the quality is obviously really good! 

Can I just suggest that you save them again somewhat smaller? As they are Nnearly 4000 pixels wide, you can only see them in small sections and have to keep scrolling up and down a sideways 4 times for the small one and and 8 times for the others. If you make them about 1000 pixels wide, they will fit on most peoples screen as a complete image. A typical laptop now is a bit over 1300 pixels so with forum boundaries ,1000 is about the max to see them as one image.

You have done some very good work so it would be great to be able to see them as complete images.

That is much better, still a bit of scrolling required but presents your work much better - and it is excellent!! 

I really like the attention to small details in the model (like the guttering, downpipes, plant boxes, garden borders, footpaths and realistic garden plantings) and the realism you have attained with the natural backgrounds and neighbouring houses etc.

Is this your place - or one you are planning to build? (or just imaginary?)

Whatever it is it is excellent work!

Oh, no, no... Isn`t my place. Just small sketch for my friend.

By the way, about picture (bottom). On top view all plants-flowers-trees are invisible( ), but  throw shadows. What`s this? Bug in TFP16?

Hi Michael,

No this is not a bug - the plants are only 2 dimensional.  They are actually just cut out photos, same as the background image. They work fine for eye level views but the more you raise the camera the 'narrower' they become. They will cause a shadow if the sun is low enough (depending on season and time of day) but when the sun is virtually overhead, as at midday on the equator, they will not throw much of a shadow either or, if the sun is from the side, the shadow will be very narrow.

You will find if you use the 2D Designers Wiew they will be visible but this view is more schematic - no shadows etc ,

The only way you will see plants from overhead is if you use 3D plants (eg 3DS format) but these are not as realistic as the photoboard versions used in TFP unless you get very very large, detailed models.  I have attached some 3DS trees for you to play with. I would suggest you put them on a separate location and maybe just turn them on for the overhead views. They are very memory intensive and potentially make the model very big and movement very slow if you ise too many. Rendering too could be much slower.

By the way, please call me Allan - you make me feel really old calling me Mr Chesney!    Actually I am old  but I like to pretend I am not!

It is always best to err on the side of formality and courteousy as you have.  Anyway I am not longer "unfamiliar" I hope, so first name is fine!. 

Funny how customs vary in different countries. In the part of England where I came from, even close aquanintences were addressed as Mr and Mrs and often we did not even know their first name.   In Australia, where I have lived for the last 58 years, it is just the opposite - everyone uses the first name, even between employer and employee most of the time too and you often do not know the surname! Mr and Mrs are only used here on very formal occasions.

If you are looking for help on different aspects of TFP, try using the forum Search. If you just enter key words, it will find them regardless of what the original question/subject was. Sometimes the original subject wonders onto something else, so the second subject would be 'lost' if it was not for the Search function.

Don't worry about your English - it is easy to follow.

Wow Michael...

What great results!  I've only been using TFP for a couple of days, so I'm on a very steep learning curve at the moment!  Was all that done in TFP?  Including the downpipes?  If not, how did you create them?

Yes, it`s absolutely true. All elements - from the catalog of TFP16. As well as including the downpipes. I created some elements self-done, but from the catalog of TFP16 once again (walls with different width and textures etc).  After a little while you`ll can do it likewise, Gaz.

I know it is a bit of an anomaly but you will find downpipes effectively hidden in Exterior Plumbing which is a Group under Interior Accessories! 

Not quite sure how they worked out that one!

I like Gaz am new to TFP and in the early learning phase. A first I was frustrated with TPF being a long term TC user, however the more I use the program and with much appreciated help from Allan, Jack and the forum, the more I am liking the program. Sensational work Michael what photorealistic settings did you use to achieve the brilliant outcome? By the way Gaz, Jacks video's are worth purchasing they certainly cut down the learning time.
