I created a tub using add element using a parametric template, so that I could input all my tub's measurements.  This worked great, except that I want to put this tub on a 45 degree angle, but I can only seem to rotate it in 90 degree increments.  Any suggestions?

I'm close...

I have the commander turned on and it seems I can inter a rotation angle and I got it to rotate to a 45 deg angle, but in the wrong direction.  I can't seem to recreate the steps to try it again or to figure out what I did.

another and maybe easier approach is to go back to the original source .3ds and re-create another .3ds file with the object rotated 45 degrees in 3D space in the creation program, save the new .3ds file (new name) and import that file and use in TFP...it should be rotated 45 degrees already for you to use.

Figured it out:

Choose "Rotate" from the element's menu.  Then click on--but don't drag--the point to rotate around (such as the center or a corner of the element.  Then in the commander type in the angle to rotate and press enter.

I kept trying to drag the element to rotate it (which works if you want to do 90-degree increments).

Turn off ortho.  Anglesnap helps too. Then use the triangular grip to rotate.
