Instant Architect

I have been using IMSI's Instant Architect ver 14 for several years and wonder whether support for it is still available.  It's a poor man's version of TurboFLOORPLAN, but I find it very useful for simple drawings.  I can continue to use it of course, but occasionally I'd like to be able to ask a question about some of its features.

Depends of your definition of "support"  --> if you mean the manufacturer's support, I don't think so. They just offer a complimentary installation assistance.
However, usually you'll find some help here at the Forum, or at least some ideas

Thanks, Pat.  The problem for which I was seeking help concerned use of the hatch command with application to a circle.  It's simple to apply it to a rectilinear form, but a circle has no corners with which to define the hatched area.  I worked around it by approximating the circle form with a series of chords, but I wish there were a way to apply the hatch command to a selected circle directly.

Welcome.....I could not pass up your name....most people on this forum may not recognize UofM = Univ of Mich.   But I do as I am a Mich. native and live in SE Mi.

I don't know anything about IMSI IA but as noted....we here try to help each other when we can.  I'll offer that perhaps if IA is like TFP, you can look to the 2D view to set a hatch fill....but it is not like any typical vector or bitmap draw program.

An alternative could be to use/place/insert a thin circular 3D shape (like a wafer) and apply a hatched texture .jpg which may show/render/screenprint/pdf-print OK for your uses.

Often it is a matter of trying anything till you find something that works or is a work-around.
