Exterior crown trim on sloped wall

Good day,

When I try to put a crown trim on the exterior of a sloped wall, the trim do not behave as expected. The crown do not slope with the top of the wall as I want it to behave.

Can anybody advise me what I should do or where I miss something?

Can't say I have ever tried that, but will to see.

In meantime, can you post a jpg pic to show what is wrong and your .bld file for others to try to "fix"?

Welcome to the forum.

The crown trim only sits at the top of a wall that is straight - if you slope the top of the wall the trim will not follow the slope. You are not missing something, it just does not work that way - yet - hopefully that will come eventually.

There are a number of ways you could do this but probably the easiest is to go to Interior Accessories / Decorative and you will find a Custom Member.  You can set this to any length, thickness, depth, texture or angle that you want, so you can adust it to look like the crown trim you have elsewhere and slope it to the angle of your wall and Right Click / Elevate it to the right height.
