                    All the plants were from the catalog.  As for the background,  I just used an imported background (.jpeg file),  no photoboard......this time.    I made the benches in Google Sketchup.       I rendered it in Advanced Mode.

Have you tried making such things as the benches in TFP?  Very easy to do.

                       I tried using the Tools in  TFP,  like the Circle, Arc and Line.   But, after drawing out the circle (for example ),  it seems like the only way I can use it is if I convert it to a wall or a member.  Then it comes to the part about not being able to  rotate it .      I've got a copy of your article on finding and using the circles, squares, etc.....but the only  place I can find these tools is when I click on Tools>Layout.   That's where I find the arc, circle, etc........... I can, for instance, make a circle, adjust the properties.  And make a wall from it.      And, no offense,  TFP is a darn good program.   I LOVE it.    But, there's no function to   "soften" edges.
