Generate Project Estimite

Hi,
Thanks for all your help. My pro DVD just got here. I followed Roberts great instructions and had no trouble merging the additional catalogs.
I still cannot find a way to change items in the estimate. I know I can export to excel and make changes but I need to do this for every job. I need to find a way to make changes in the TFP program so the estimate is generated using the correct pricing to begin with.
Some items, like cabinets, can be changed with the catalog manager, but I would like to be able to price the countertops separate.
I need a way to change materials used in some items. For example, walls. I need to be able to alter the price for the 2x6s, the sheeting (also change the size), the insulation, the siding, etc.
Any ideas?

I have not played with this a great deal but you can change the price of item in the Properties of each on the Quantity tab.  Obviously if you add an item or modify an item, you need to change the pricing accordingly.  Same with walls - create a wall that meets your specs and price it accordingly. I can't see any way (yet) of changing prices for component parts of the wall though.
