Verandah end help

What would be the best way to construct an end to the attached bullnose roof as shown. bld file attached.

Hi Bob,

If you go to the Verandah location and select the roof, make sure the gable edges are selected and check that you have Display Gable ticked (I think it was) but you must also select Solution Type and choose the centre one. The left hand one cuts a hole in the roof based on the one above, so it was slicing your gable ends off.

For the rendering I had to reassign textures as I obviously didn't have any of the ones your had (whole model was white!).

Thanks Allan, like your render. I have no idea why the model was white, as you can see from my post the walls were brick and the roof was colourbond  dune corrugated iron. I will try your solution, many thanks.

Hi Bob,

It is coming on nicely!!

The colours were just white as you had used textures that I did not have (or they had different names). Textures are not saved with the model, they are used from your PC.  That is why it is alway best to keep them in the Textures folder, otherwise you can lose them on the PC if files are renamed or moved.
