Useful sources to import elements from?

I know someone referred me to one or more external catalogs that can be useful resources to import elements from.
But I forgot how to find them and searches did not help.
Anyone can give hints?

At the moment I am specifically looking for:
1. (Big) Potted plants for indoor use - the actual catalog has just ONE: a vase with flowers.
2. More shower fixes including a big 'rain shower'

There are 7,500 plants in the Garden Encyclopedia so you only have to choose something suitable and put it into a pot.

Sorry but I am not familiar with the term 'rain shower'.

You can find objects using Google, search for 3DS or SKP objectd. The Google Sketchup Warehouse has endless objects but be careful as they can quickly blow out the size of your model and catalogue and cause things to grind to a hault almost. Imported objects can also cause corruptions of the model, leading to crashes.

Most things can be created within the program with a little imagination. In about 15 years of daily use I would only have had to import about half a dozen objects.

For the plants: that will work. Will be my own digital gardener.
The rain shower: a ceiling shower with a wide (20cm?) circular surface from where 'rain' falls down. It also comes in wall models with a big metal arc holder (similar to an arc lamp)
I still have too many things to learn to start designing/creating my own customized objects.
Thought that someone somewhere mentioned a useful catalog, not sure if it was specifically TFP related.
You don't know any 'safe' location, where other TFP users post their creations?

The most useful source of object is Google SketchUp Warehouse. It is not a catalogue in the sense that TFP has a catalogue, it is just a collection of object made in SketchUp by the various users. Some are good, some are bad (in that they sometimes have stray bits and pieces also attached to them that can cause problems). Make sure the object does not appear to be bigger than it is or that the object is off centre from your cursor (implying stray bits maybe not visible in normal views).

Your beam for example: Do the horizontal one, match the two side ones to the roof slope. Turn off everything, including the Terrain and leave just the members of your beam on. Do a File / Export as a 3DS. Now you can File/Import/ Object Wizard and it is one object and you can add it to your catalogue for later use..
