Designing Atic Space

I have an older version of  TURBOFLPLAN 3D home and landscaping pro v14. It still works good, however, I am doing a home renovation. All was fine until I got to the third floor living space. It is an attic living space.  Of course the walls are not eight feet tall, nor does the roof sit directly on top of the second story, but it rises about two feet around the perimeter of the house.

My question is how do I draw the roof and the walls to fit my design ideas? My explanation might be somewhat confusing, so please feel free to prompt me with questions.

sounds like you might want to make the 3rd floor location setup with 2' high walls and then put the roof on that level and set the ceiling to "cathedral"

Hi cjcham, and welcome to the forum,

I wasn't quite sure about the comment that the roof...

rises about two feet around the perimeter of the house.
I take that to mean that you have 2' vertical part to the wall, then a sloping ceiling and if that is the case then do as Doug said.
Make sure the Wall Height is set at 2' in the Third Floor Location and that the wall itself is set to Auto Extend to roof. This will mean the botton support edge of the roof will be 2' above the floor and the walls will automatically extend into any gables while interior walls will extend to the roof. Doors and windows will still insert even though the wall is only 2' high.

If you use the forum Search for "Attic" you will find this has been covered a number of times.

If we have missed the point then you may need to give more details.
