Night view

I have tried and failed to render a night-tim view - the program abends. This seems to be a bug .. Am I riding the beast incorrectly?

I had tried night views with no problem.  Just wondering if you have Hardware Acceleration on? If you have, turn it off. (Settings/Program Settings/Graphics). I and some others have been unable to do an Advanced render with HA on.
