Anyone can tell how to make plumbing pipes horizontal, vertical and bent at different angles?

Hi Elie,

How are you wanting to display the plumbing - on plans/elevations or in 3D?

There is a reason for the question because it may make a difference how it is best done. Normally plumbing is concealed inside the walls, in the ceiling or under the floor. Since TFP is designed primarily for 3D visualisation ,the plumbing would not normally be see. If it needs to be seen in 3D it can be done but is not as straight forward as drawing walls. I will explain if you need it in 3D.

If it is only needed on your plans, to show where pipes are laid under the ground or floor, then probably the simplest way is to use the Line tool in the Layout toolbar. This can be set to a dotted line if required or be converted to a double line.

Maybe you can give me an idea exactly what you want to do and I will explain the best way to do it.

You can also use the line tool (per Alan's note) and then convert the line to a pipe shape by right clicking on it and 'convert to member'.  That works fine in the horizontal but I'm not sure how to do that in the vertical.

Vertical is easiest using Columns. The corners are the more difficult bits - if 3D views are required.
