landscaping and drains!

I have an unusual plot to create.
I am doing a design for a new lambing shed.
This is a conversion of some existing stone buildings which are half buried in the hillside, i.e. the rear wall is dug back into the hill so that the roof is virtually invisible from behind.
The two existing stone buildings will effectively form a "U" shaped courtyard with the new shed forming the link between them.
Now for the problem if I use the plateaus tool in landscape, I can create exactly the effect I want, except that it puts the ground level of the courtyard on the same slope as the hill was at before it was excavated, if I change the surface to concrete or enclose it with a wall it buries the wall or alters the concrete to the same slope!
On a general query, how can I plot underground drainage?

Hi Cric.

The Slope tool will slope the whole of the terrain. Use the Plateau tool to create the whole terrain instead.
If you just want to cut out the courtyard bit  then you could use the Pad tool setting it NOT to follow the terrain.

For the drainage you could use the Layout toolbar's Line tool, draw the drain route and then right click Convert to Members. Now you can select a pipe  the diameter you want. When you Convert make sure you tick the Mitre If possible boxes and draw in an anticlockwise direction.
