I am on the wrong forum, but maybe someone can help

I got on this forum by mistake, but maybe someone has some advice that can help me. I am working with Designcad 3d max V.22 software and am having a lot of difficulty making drawings in 3d. I run the commands as laid out in their manual and videos, but I either get flat or disjointed views. Is there any one out there that can give me some good guidance to figure this out? Thank you
