Importing v16 files (.bld) into v17

I have spent several weeks generating work in TFP v16 saved in .bld files.  This week I bought v17 and can't figure out how to import these .bld files into v17.  Please help.  I have tried 7 times to talk to someone in support with no luck.  The last time (Thursday) a lady promised to have tech support call me - no response.  Please help.

Hi Larry, welcome to the Forum

the simple answer is the fact that you can't import TFP V16 files directly to TFP V17 because they are based on different programs: TFP V16 is based on a Cadsoft program and TFP V17 is based on a Punch program
The only option is => Using TFP V16 => Export to DXF => Using TFP V17 => File => Import DXF => Convert each line to walls, decks, etc.
