Get Dimensions from wall to wall, not middle of wall to middle of wall

Hi,  When I size a room, the dimensions are shown from mid wall to mid wall.  I need dimensions from I/S of wall to I/S of opposite wall. I have had program for about 2 weeks so am still on learning curve.  Please show step by step answer if possible.  Thank you

Use the Zero-offset dimension tool to achieve that.

Hi pogmahon.

There is a special tool for this.
Click on the "A" icon (left up corner) => the drop down menu will open => select the Dimension Wall spacing tool (outlined in red in the image) => place it on one wall and extend towards the opposite wall (outlined in green).
In the Tool options bar => select surfaces (outlined in blue)
