Curved Walls

Thank you in advance for your advice.
Using TFP v16 and Windows 7/64.

I insert a curved wall onto any plan, and remaining in 2D view mode, I enable fill for the 2D Core, and make it black.  (Fill is enabled in settings.)  The wall appears filled as hoped, but so does the complete segment for one wall end point to the other.  If you imagine a half-circle wall, then the entire half circle is filled in, not just the wall core.

Is this a quirk, or can I fix this?  I should note that adding a window to the curved wall, seems to eliminate the unwanted fill, and shows only the wall core filled.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I have tested this out and get the same results as you. The only work around I can see is to put numerous Breaks in the wall (select wall, right click, Break) if you do not require a window in it. It still fills in across the curve but less obvious the more breaks you have. The Breaks can cause problems in some ways, as they become individual walls in effect, so if you are changing the Appearance first example, you must select each segment, so all wall sections are all the same colour.

Hope that helps,

Allan
