How to get trials for new versions of TFP

Hey, Y'all!  Hey, where can I find a trial version of Turbo FloorPlan Home & Landscape Pro v17?  I looked for it on the IMSI site, but all I see is trials for TFP Pro 2015--which I've already tried and do not like.  Also, where can I find a trials for Personal Architect and other programs that will open and work with the BLD and BIM files from Turbo FloorPlan Pro? 

I don't like purchasing things without being able to try them out first. 

I really don't have to resort to torrents..... too much of a security risk.

PS.  As hard as I tried, I never did figure out the 3D object import problem with my TFP Pro v15.  I even uninstalled and reinstalled the program, still had the same problem.  So, I gave up on it for good, and if v17 or another program works better for me, I will purchase it.  :-)

Hi Judy,

V17 was discontinued and V2015 is the newest version. I am not sure why you don't like it.

V2015 imports 3DS files as well as Sketchup files. In addition, it includes a Power Tool (3D Custom Workshop) where you can build custom objects as well as modify the current objects.

I don't use the previous versions of TFP, so for issues related with the TFP versions 16 or older, please, post your questions in the "General Category - V.16 and Earlier"section of the Forum (below)

I didn't like v2015 because I wasn't able to open and work with the projects I had made with my old v15.  The file format is different, it's not .bld anymore.  I also didn't like the fact that I couldn't delete wall cabinets--I had to click "undo" to get rid of them.  I was able to delete/clear other objects, tho'.  Everything in v2015 is different and didn't seem all that user-friendly to me, really.  It seems like it's made for people who have already have tons of experience with CAD stuff, not for people like me who don't know much about it.  Is TFP v16 discontinued, too?

Hi Judy,

Well, I agree that the fact that you can't open your old files is a limitation for your work, however, it is not related with the quality of the program.

I'd like to clarify the Cabinets can be easily deleted using the Delete key in your keyboard.

TFP, as any program, has a learning curve. The best way to learn the program, IMO, is practice + practice + practice => Read and follow the manual (this is important), see the videos => try to create elements not related with your project, so you will become familiar with the commands and how to develop the different components.

Currently, the only TFP version is V2015 => all the remaining versions were discontinued.
