Glitchy holes in walls?

Thank you Patricia, so the exterior walls should be continuous? That is they should all light up in blue when I highlight over them?

Hi there,

To visualize the concept, try the following exercise (you can follow the steps with the images attached)
1 - Open a new file => in quick start create a plan (any plan, any layout) => click "Continue"
2 - In the main program, click on a exterior wall => you will notice that all the exterior walls become green => this means a continuous perimeter. Note that all the walls (interior and exterior) are perfectly linked and correctly elevated.
3 - Change the thickness of a exterior wall (just one) => you will notice that the thickness of all the exterior walls change at once. In liveview, the model looks perfect, without holes.

I just realized that I did the images with the Windows versions and not with the Mac version => the steps are the same. Use the Inspector instead of the properties bar.
TFP, as any program, has a learning curve. The best way to learn the program, IMO, is practice + practice + practice => Read and follow the manual (this is important), see the videos => try to create elements not related with your project, so you will become familiar with the commands and how to develop the different components.

I see; that definitely makes a lot of sense. I guess Im just not sure what I'm doing that makes the wall discontinuous?

I wonder if I could try deleting all the exterior walls and re-drawing them continuously.

Hi there,

Perhaps you should try to start a new file? I believe that this one is corrupted.
As you saw, the sample plans work fine, therefore, it is not the program or the computer.
