Hello - I'm a newbie and trying to figure out how to add things like stone or brick arches, brick window sills, quoins, etc on the exterior.  Perhaps if I had one example it would all make sense.  Any help is appreciated! TIA!

Hi there,

For a coincidence, yesterday I published a tutorial regarding trims and moldings in my Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/notes/punchhelpers/pats-tip-11/1671043262967907/

Another option: if you prefer, you can add these elements as 3D objects, as you can see (and download) in this tutorial about quoins:

In my FB page https://www.facebook.com/punchhelpers.links/ you will find more tutorials in my "Notes" => don't forget to like / follow the FB page to receive notifications about tutorials and updates.

Hope this helps!  :)

Hi there,

You're welcome, glad to know that I helped!  :)
And thank you for buying my eBook,

One more question.  When creating the photo image.. it probably goes without saying, but I'll need to make sure that the dimension is the same as the opening.  In other words, changing the width would stretch it, so that a 2-1/4" brick would get wider instead of adding bricks obviously.. right?

Hi there,

Exactly. Usually, I try to set the number of bricks and height for a more realistic look.
Always keep in mind that you are placing a picture, so you can change the proportions or the colors, but in that particular picture, you can't change the number of bricks, or their angle.
Hope this helps.
