Probably a basic question so apologies in advance. Is there a way to export to a format that can be opened in AutoCAD?

Hi there,

Yes, there is. To export to Autocad, use => File => Export => DXF / DWG File.

I only have a grayed out 3D Image export and a Landscape Quote File. Is this perhaps a limitation of the application while it's in trial?

Hi there,

Nope, it is not related with the trial version. If the menu is grayed out, then you are in "Quick Start mode". The Quick start mode is just this, a fast layout, that you can use or just bypass it.
Therefore, after you press the "Continue" button you will be able to save, import, export, as well as use all the TFP features.

Thanks Patricia. I'm not in QuickStart. It looks like this. Admittedly the walls are a bit wonky and the roof even weirder at the moment. Would that prevent export?

Hi there,

Thank you for posting the image. I can see the issues now.
1 - You are using the Mac version of the program => the Mac version doesn't import or export DWG / DXF files as you can see in this chart https://www.turbocad.com/content/turbofloorplan-2017-mac-comparison-chart.
2 - The feature that is grayed out is "3D Image" => a 3D image is a liveview image, like the one attached to this post. In order to activate this feature, you must visualize the project in 3D (Live view)
