Advice on Foundations?

I'm very new to using FloorPlan Home and Landscape Pro 2021 (Mac).

Can someone advise, is there a guide to how to create a foundation? I'm designing a house with a basement, ground and then first floor above it. At the moment my foundation consists of "Stiffener Beams" which run below the outer walls, but I have a feeling I am doing something wrong?

I had a look at some online video content and the manual but couldn't find a clear process for creating something from the ground up.

In order to add the foundations you must follow the structural project, adding the available elements in the Foundation tab.

The manual includes a full chapter about foundations.

Hello Patricia, I solved it, somewhere I forgot to click Excavate Topography!

The foundations don't require that topography excavation.
