Fill End Of Overhang?

Does anyone know how to fill the empty triangular space at the end of the roof overhang between the end of the soffit, exterior wall, and overhang?  The fill material is not important because it would be easy to change.  Hopefully there is something easier than inserting a small sloped wall.

Thanks,
Otto

Hi Otto,

Unless someone else has found how to do this I would suggest that you copy this one into the Feature Requests section, as I cannot see any way to do it within the program as it is. There  are workarounds of course but that should not be necessary really. If I remember rightly we had the opposite problem in previous versions - you had the little triangle there even when you had a raked soffit.

I tried many different ways including putting a roof on another location by itself but as soon as you make the end a gable the problem appears.

Some suggests for now:

  • Use a raked soffit
  • Colour the underside of the roof the same as the soffit (it MAY not show?)
  • Use the 3DS traingle attached - it may be easier than using a wall
