Shed roof

I have read the few threads on flat and shed roofs, but still can't get it to work properly. I have a section of the house that I want a shed roof on that will face south. I finally (by reading the above topics) figured out how to create a roof with the single slope, but now I can't get it to sit down on the walls! It slopes the wrong way and ends up far above the wall height. How can I make the roof sit on the walls?

I cant open the file at the moment as I am replying by phone but the first thought is that the roof sits at the wall height of the location on which it is inserted. If you have lowered the walls them there would be a gap. You may need a new Location for your shed with the walls set lower.

You nearly had it correct....but you need to swap the two sides....make the one side a gable and the other a hip and adjust the hip angle to match the walls

I attached a .bld file I made by modifying your roof sides (select each side and see the settings) and a .jpg view which are close to what you want....needs more fine tuning of hip angle

Remember you select each roof side (green arrow) to adjust that side....other sides not selected (red arrows)...right-click, properties and adjust angle etc. change to hip, gable, etc)

Of course if you want 3 sides the same....then shift-click to select each.
