Hallo,

I want to make a roof bigger then the walls limitation with four points. The underside of the roof is just closed a short way. How can I close the rest?

Hi Rudl,

Inserting a roof by Picking Points creates a roof that is not related to the walls (other than being by default at wall height) so you can place a roof anywhere even without walls.  The result, as you have found, is that the soffit does not expand to reach the walls.  There are probably many solutions but the one that comes straight to mind is simply to insert a ceiling also by Picking Points and lowering it if necessary (right click/Elevate) so that it aligns with the automatic soffit (and set to the same material of course).
