HELP! First off I'm new to TFP and secondly I've installed it on a new computer Vista 64bit, Radeon 4850 graphics, 4GB memory, Athlon Pheonom. Whenever I get the basic 4 wall building built in 2D and then click on 3D it comes up like Dynamic Cutaway with nothing showing except what looks like a wire-frame outline of the building and terrain.  I then click VIEW, DYNAMIC CUTAWAY and NONE, and, wahla, there is my building in 3D. I then click OK.  Then when I move the cursor or try to select anything else it reverts back to that wire-frame image. I have tried everything I could think of including reinstalling TFP and I could find nothing in the  forum or FAQs. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

Hi Norm,

First of all, welcome to the Forum.

It sounds to me as though you have it set to Wireframe view. Check View / Display Mode - should be on Rendered.

Since you are just starting out be aware that if you have any odd display issues try turning off Hardware Acceleration. (Settings / Program Settings / Graphics). Hopefully you will be OK with this - it tends to affect older machines more. HA is good for moving around but sometimes is a problem during Advanced Rendering.

Hopefully the Display Mode switch solves your current problem.
