What video card should I get?

The computer I'm getting will be the Gateway DX4710-UB002A http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668112.php#techspecs or equivilent.   (Intel Q660 Quad Core processor, 4MB of Ram min.)

The Gate comes standard with an ATI Radeon HD3650 512MB.    Is that good for FloorPlan?    I will have other business and/or multimedia apps open at the same time as FloorPlan.

Tom,

The PC specs sound fine but I'm no expert however in that area.  My laptop has a similar graphics card and works beautifully but you will probably get some more experienced advise on that from others so listen to them.  Envisioneer should work equally well as the parent program if you go that way - maybe ask the same question on the Envisioneer forum.

The 3D photorealistic work relies mainly on processor speed so your system would be fine for that but for moving around in 3D the graphics card plays a part.  If you are mainly into plans then it should be fine as it is, but as I said, listen to the other experts comments too.
