how do i put it on the ends of the wall?

I assume you are talking about a wall that is a single free standing into the room - where you can see both sides and the end also.  The simplest way to do this is to make the wall only half the thickess and make this wall with three sides like a mini room and then drag the two walls together so it looks like one wall - it will then put the trim around the three walls.

See the image - I have left the walls normal thickness so you can see what I mean.
