roof problem and where did my wall trim go!

The chair rails and baseboard trim were there, in properties they are there but not in the 3d view.
yes i checked the other side of the wall but that did not help
strangely some are there.
it also forgot the wall colours so i painted them in.

now if anyone can put the roof on right...

I am just using my phone at present so cannot open the BLD file to look at the wall issue but the roof may mean several locations as there are different wall heights. The garage appears to be higher (maybe not) but the portico entry certainly is, so this will need a new location set accordingly.

I will have a look a the wall trim later.

yes i set the portico first.
but all the ways i did the roof, it would be wrong, like merging the portico roof with the garage

If the garage and Portico have different height walls (which they appear to from the photo) then the walls need to be on different Locations as the roof will sit on the walls that are on that location. You probably need a garage, portico and house locations if the wall heights, hence roof heights are different.

I will have a look at you BLD file when I get home and look at the trim problem.

Well I am home now and have had a look at your BLD file.  If you look at the front wall where the curved top window is, you will notice that it does not join the high wall at the left.  This means that the living area of the home is not really a room but a rambling free standing wall, so it will not accept a ceiling or roof.   It also means that the walls don't know if they are interior or exterior and the property settings become confused.  If you stretch that wall so that it joins in to the high wall, then all the trims return. You will also find that the autofloor returns also - so you will now have several competing floors. You must have had the auto floor and then added the others in later. You need to delete the auto floor so that the others will work or select the others and raise them by a fraction so they are above the auto floor.

The same corner of the high walls is also broken and needs to be joined too. If you cannot enter a 'Ceiling By Room' from overhead in 3D, then there is a break in the walls of that room somewhere.

Back to the roof: You could keep the high walls and add the roof on a new Location (or adjust the existing Second Floor settings) so that the wall height of this 'second floor' is just the height of the walls above the ground floor wall height.  In other words, if the ground floor is 8' walls and the high wall is another 4' higher, then the second floor wall height should be 4' minus the floor thickness 1'. No need to draw any walls on this new Location just draw the Roof by Pick Points and it will insert at the top of the wall level for the 'second floor' and hence at the top of the high walls on your ground floor.
