UNDO?

Are you supposed to be able to UNDO operations? I have several times now done something I wanted to do over again because it didn't turn out as expected. For instance, the HELP said, to recreate a dormer if it was too high. I tried to UNDO but the menu choice was greyed out. I tried removing the dormer, but it left the hole in the roof. I tried removing the hole and got a messed up roof. I tried UNDO on that and once again the button was greyed out.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Undo seems to be working just fine for me.

One thing to note is that the program is set to Save every X minutes.  Saving erases all Undo memory options. That is true for all programs I have used.

I suggest that experienced users turn Auto Save off and train yourself to Save As and save often.

That may be the problem, at least with TurboFloorPlan. I don't believe TurboCAD erases UNDO memory, at least I've never had it happen in years of constant use. However, I agree about training oneself to save often, because autosaves usually halt all use of the program and when the file is big this can occur right in the middle of a critical operation when you don't appreciate an interruption. It's much more efficient to save your backup while you're talking on the phone or looking up a code issue.

I typically use CTRL + Z for undo and CTRL + Y for redo.   These are global Windows commands and a great time saver for all your programs.
