Floor not inserted automatically

V12 TFP & using Windows XP. Attempting to apply floor finishes...although automatic floor button is enabled, the floor is not there. Will not accept material. Have tried 2D Designer & 3D views. Room is fully enclosed. I am newer user.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

A few questions first to eliminate the issue or narrow down the problem:

Was the area enclosed initially or did you make the wall join later?

Are floors turned on in the View Filter?

Can you add a Floor By Room or Floor By Perimeter?

Yes, space was enclosed initially.
Floors are turned on...but I noticed that floor height was "0", so I gave it depth and voila! Floors!
