ground terrain - slope

hi can anyone help out? what i am trying to do is have a ground level, go up a slope then have a grass area at the raised level - if i use the slope tool i get a lower grass level, sloped grass then nothing!

i am after an area of green at the top of the slope for extra's

Hi Stephen,  

To get what you have described you would be better off using the Plateau tool as this gives a level area, slope, then level again. Start drawing it outside the terrain and finish outside too unless your upper level goes down again. Each time you draw a plateau it ADDS to the top of the previous one so you can make up a graduating slope. To get the grass just where you want it use the Fill tool. It will automatically follow the slope if necessary.

thanks allan - cheated a bit just extended the boundrys that cured the problem :)
