sorted one grass problem only to run into another!

i have an underground escape tunnel (see pic) and need to "fill in" the hole left , i raised the ground using the slope tool to make sure the ground level was above the roof of the tunnel but when i put in the walls of the tunnel it also cut a section of grass out - this is the area i need to cover - have searched for solutions but it looks like a first - got the inspiration from the old priest bolt holes

Hi Stephen,

A hole in the terrain is automatically cut by walls on the Location set to "Autocut..." in Settings > Programme Settings > Terrain.

If you uncheck this box, it will not cut any opening and the terrain will flow through the building also (if it is lower than the terrain). You can use the dropdown box underneath the "Autocut..." check box, to make it cut around some other Building Location if this is suitable.

If you need more control than the autocut around existing buildings, then create another location and draw some walls to mark the actual boundary of the opening you want, change the dropdown box to that Location and then just turn the walls off in the View Filter. You can also use the room divider tool instead of the walls to mark the opening and you then do not need to turn them off. The divider lines will show in the 3D view but will not appear in the rendered image. Make sure the Auto floor is not turned on or else just delete the floor if it creates one.

Hope you follow all that. Just ask again if it is not clear. Probably just changing the autocaut location selector is all you need to do.
