Hi everyone,

If you have been looking for downpipes in TFP you may not have found them, as they are on the Interiors toolbar, under Plumbing / Exterior Plumbing. If you try to use Down Spout 2 you will find there is an issue with it - the optional Leader Tail goes underneath the building (not an ideal place for excess water!!).

This has since been fixed in a recent release of Envisioneer but that update has not flowed on to TFP yet. I have attached a BIM file with this corrected downpipe - the tail now goes away from the house. If you would like to add this to your catalogue go to File / Catalogues / Import BIM. You may get a message that says it was created in a later version but if you keep clicking OK it should still import and you can then Tramsfer it to your Catalogue. This is much easier to use than trying to add Downspout 3 to the bottom of Downspout 1 or 2.

This same section of the Catalogue includes guttering sections (called Eavstroughs). These need to be added in separate straights and corners which can be very tedious. You will find an alternative method, that is much easier once you understand how it works, in this post: http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,867.msg4159.html#msg4159

For a good example of the use of downpipes (and guttering - though I am not use what method he used for the guttering) see Michael's beautiful renders in this post in the Gallery: http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,2236.0.html. The subject of downpipes arose in Michael's post. Since it would probably get missed being under a different subject, I thought I would raise it again here so it would be easier for others to find.
